PLU is a unique home exchange website. It is run very much along community lines, with a Facebook page for members, as well as a website that is constantly evolving and is easy to use. There are loads of people posting their properties from all over the world and it's easy to chat and arrange an exchange. Our recent exchange (Sept 2019) to Italy was brilliant! At the moment it is free to join, though the utterly committed developer and owner really should start charging soon! He responds to members' queries with promptly and enthusiastically. Can't wait to fix another exchange holiday!

This is the perfect home exchange site, especially for new home swappers who may be nervous about joining the home swap community. It provides all the information and advice you need and links you up with the friendliest home swap community out there waiting to answer any questions and give you a very warm welcome. We have had an excellent exchange through this site and have just finalised another. We look forward to many more adventures through PLU.

We decided after a change of life circumstances to travel differently than we had travelled before and plunged in to the world of home exchanging. We joined two sites in January 2019 and quickly discovered that People Like Us was filled with people like us.....vibrant, kind, generous, trustworthy and passionate about travel people. We listed our home on the website and quickly joined the Facebook site of the same name which is wonderful for inspiration, friendship and information. We had 10 exchanges planned for two seperate three month trips for 2020 🙄 to Europe and the US/Canada and our first guests were to arrive early 2020.....I am now officially addicted and delighted! All of this through PLU! I’m so happy I accidentally found this home exchange, it embodies the true spirit of home exchange and is opening my mind to a million different travel possibilities .... post Covid19!

We’ve homeexchanged since 2004 and of all the homeexchange websites we have used PLU is by far the best! Fantastic customer service and the most friendly, positive and supportive community. Drew, who runs PLU, listens to all suggestions from members, answers all queries immediately, and consults all members before making changes to the website. PLU may not have as many listings yet as some of the big homeexchange sites (claim to have), but we’ve found it far easier to find exchanges here because people are more active and committed. Highly recommend!
