The process in organizing an exchange was great for us! This was our first exchange and we were very pleased to have had the opportunity to participate.
Joined this site to expand our home exchange options, expecting the normal impersonal interaction with other exchangees and invisibility to site administrators. Found instead, a community who are dedicated to principles of friendship and respect, and an administration team whose motivation is not commercial, but genuine interest in, and concern for, the satisfaction of members. I cannot recommend this site highly enough.
This is my first use of the Globe system and it really was so helpful in this instance. I had had an exchange offered during January on a different site. They then cancelled at short notice, due to ill health. The Globe then came into play when I saw a blog who was offering accommodation ,non reciprocal. It meant we could go ahead with our plans. Thank you!
People Like Us is making it possible for my family to spend the month of July in Denmark this year. It is very easy to get your house posted on the site with all the needed information. The site also has a great search tool to help you narrow down your search and help you find families to possibly exchange with. Making and excepting a proposal through the site was easy as well. It’s all very clear and laid out nicely. We are so glad we found this site and can’t wait to start exploring the world!

We’ve homeexchanged since 2004 and of all the homeexchange websites we have used PLU is by far the best! Fantastic customer service and the most friendly, positive and supportive community. Drew, who runs PLU, listens to all suggestions from members, answers all queries immediately, and consults all members before making changes to the website. PLU may not have as many listings yet as some of the big homeexchange sites (claim to have), but we’ve found it far easier to find exchanges here because people are more active and committed. Highly recommend!
I find this group to be so friendly and helpful offering such wonderful exchanges around the world. It's a terrific way to travel and meet wonderful new friends as well!
