We had exchanged many times in a previous exchange program and were wildly supportive of it. When that program disintegrated, we learned of People Like Us. Wow! PLU has the benefits of the old program before the ownership change, but, in addition, has Drew, its dynamic leader. He has made a personal commitment to make this not only work financially, but work in the best interests of the members. Vicki and I are all in, both for the friendships we’ll make, and for the opportunity to share our bit of paradise with you.

We love PLU! It is our first home exchanging experience and we have felt so warmly welcomed by the PLU community. There is such an atmosphere of camaraderie and shared experience that you just want to really connect with everyone. The site has been well designed and easy to use. Discovering PLU has been such a wonderful experience for us. We love the community and exchanging has completely changed the way we think about travelling. With two small children and being restricted to school holidays, travel was previously so expensive and frustrating. We love arriving at a new exchange with all the home comforts and being able to explore somewhere new. We would urge anyone on the fence to jump right in, you won’t regret it.

People Like Us is like belonging to an exclusive but friendly club. Drew, who created the website, is amazingly available for any help and advice, as is his team. Other members always seem to respond quickly and positively, even if they can't manage the exchange you might have in mind, they'll almost always try to help. Basically, it's for 'people like us' - adventurous, warm, outgoing travellers who like other people and are inclined to trust them. It's not for everyone, but if you like the idea of something new, something different and the chance to meet other like minded friends it's for you.

I am on at least 4 home exchange sites and People Like Us is the best! Friendly, communicative, with a great choice of homes in many countries and areally excellent personal service from Drew and his team. The swap system is simple and the response time if you need help and advice is very quick! Well done PLUkeep up the good work!

The website is constantly upgraded with added features and functionality to make it more user-friendly. The site seems to be a labor of love for the management.
